2006 Volvo S60

The 2006 Volvo S60 retains most of the specifications and features of the earlier model of the year 2005. The good news for car enthusiasts is that the new S60, taken to be midway in terms of size between the S40 and the S80 ranges from Volvo, has become exclusively turbocharger-enabled. The I-5 engine lacking turbochargers is discarded in the 2006 versions.

The most powerful version of the 2006 Volvo S60 is still the high-performance S60 R trim level. With a turbocharger-enabled I-5 engine having a capacity of 2.5 liters, this model can produce up to 300 horsepower.

The '06 S60 has a number of minor modifications from the 2005 version, including an improved all-wheel-drive mechanism having an Instant Traction feature for generating extra torque at the rear-end axle.

Accessory options include leather upholstery, rear park assistance system and a moon roof. A rear spoiler is included in the sport-body package, making this sedan more than just another luxury vehicle.
